Life and Abortion

As a candidate for the US House of Representatives, I want to make it clear that my views have not changed from last election when I was running for state senate. I am a pro-life candidate who believes in the sanctity of human life at all stages, from conception to natural death.

This belief is not merely a part of my campaign—it is a core conviction that has guided my personal and public life. I understand that this is a deeply personal and often complex issue for many, and I approach it with the utmost respect for differing viewpoints. However, I also feel a strong obligation to stand up for those who cannot speak for themselves—the unborn.

Why I Am Pro-Life

My pro-life stance is rooted in a commitment to protecting the most vulnerable members of our society. Every life is precious, and I believe that it is our duty to uphold the dignity and value of each human being. This is a responsibility that I take very seriously, and it will be a guiding principle in my decision-making process as your representative.

Support for Women and Families

Being pro-life also means supporting policies that provide real help to women and families. It is not enough to simply oppose abortion; we must also work to create an environment where every child is welcomed and supported, and where mothers and fathers have the resources they need to raise their children.

This includes advocating for:

  • Access to Quality Healthcare: Ensuring that women have access to the medical care they need throughout pregnancy and after childbirth, including prenatal care and maternal health services.

  • Support for Adoption: Promoting adoption as a loving and viable option for women who feel unable to care for a child themselves. This means making the adoption process more affordable and accessible.

  • Strengthening Families: Encouraging policies that support families, such as parental leave, affordable childcare, and programs that assist low-income families in meeting their needs.

  • Education and Resources: Providing education and resources on family planning and pregnancy support, so that women are empowered to make informed decisions.

A Voice for the Voiceless

If elected to the House of Representatives, I will work tirelessly to advocate for pro-life policies that protect the unborn and support women and families. I believe that our laws should reflect the inherent value of every human life, and I will fight to ensure that West Virginia remains a place where life is respected and cherished.

I understand that the issue of life is deeply personal and can be divisive, but I hope that we can come together to find common ground in supporting women, children, and families. As your representative, I will listen to all voices, and I will work to create policies that reflect the values of our community.
